Several old car wheels and tyres
Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 15:26, Monday 11 January 2021
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later
Someone has illegally fly-tipped several old car wheels and tyres. This has been done in various locations around the estate so there is more than one report. They are on the grassy area junction Martin Bowes Road and Aresenal Road. Directly across the road opposite on Arsenal Road is another pile of flytipped car tyres

Further to the reporting of these wheels and tyres at the junction of Arsenal Road And Martin Bowes Road - the three wheels on the grass area were “left” behind the heras fencing erected by SGN and their associates. Due to the pandemic, the fencing was in place from Jan/Feb - Nov 2020. Although they may not belong to SGN, it would have been nice if they had taken the responsibility for their removal on their departure. On the subject of the grassed area at the junction of Martin Bowes and Arsenal, I am not happy (and you should not be) that SGN thought it was acceptable to dump a pile of topsoil on what had become a very muddy site and throw down some grass seed. Who is now responsible for reinstating the area to its former condition?

Further to the foregoing, I would like a response about the condition of the “grassed” area at the junction of Martin Bowes Road and Arsenal Road. As I asked, who is responsible for the reinstatement of this area? SGN and their associates were camped there for nine months and have not done so to date. I see that there are other areas on the Progress Estate used by SGN that have not been reinstated to their former condition. My next question is - who is responsible from the Council on checking this and liaising with SGN to ensure they fulfil their responsibilities?
