Waste water on footpath

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drains and gullies category anonymously at 14:57, Fri 27 November 2020

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Waste water is coming from a blocked drain in the back garden of a property opposite the front door of 10 Eleanor Walk. The effluent is continual and smells, also running accross the public footpath. The resident do not seem to be dealing with this as it has been running for days.

  • This would be a thames water issue

State changed to: not the council's responsibility

  • How can this have been closed without resolution. This is coming from a council house, with council tenants who clearly don’t mind living in mess. As the council you have a duty of care to ensure that your tenants behave in a reasonable manner, keep the property in a liveable state and not cause issues with neighbouring properties. I request again that this issue is resolved either directly by the council or you advising your tenant of the issue and ensuring that THEY get this sorted out.
