Awful sewerage smells and poor drainage

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

We've had a plumber look at the poor drainage on the ground floor of our house and he's given the house a clean bill of health, however, he identified there appears to be an issue with the street sewerage. The smell from the sewer is rancid.
