Drain blocked on the corner of Burwash Road & Durham Rise

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drains and gullies category by Martyn Pendergast at 15:03, Sun 15 November 2020

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

The drain has been blocked for several months, but the heavy rains today have shown up the problem. I tried to unblock it with a spade, but the blockage seems to be quite thick.

  • As you will see from the photo, leaves are not the problem, but soil, stones and other debris. You can see where I tried to unblock the grille, but the blockage seems to be several inches thick. (I have tried to post the photo, but it is not showing in my brower. Hopefully you will be able to see it).
