Long outstanding litter
Reported via desktop in the Street cleaning category by John Lawton at 18:39, Wed 11 November 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later
This is the slip road going west into Riefield road and abutting the cemetery. Local residents were asked to desist from collecting rubbish here by RBG on safety grounds. We explained that we had left a number of black sacks ready to be collected which still remain uncollected. Additionally there is now an increasing build up of litter. As I have explained to RBG before although the slip road belongs to Tfl Under the Environmental Protection Act, litter clearance is the responsibility of the local borough - in this case it is Royal Borough of Greenwich. Please therefore will you arranged to have it cleared now and then cleared on a regular basis, as the litter so close to the cemetery is unthinking and unpleasant for mourners. Thank you
