Dangerous crossing

Reported via iOS in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 10:09, Thu 29 October 2020

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

How long does it take for this council to put the correct lights in a zebra crossing the has now been open for over 3 months and still no Belisha beacon installed. Is it Greenwich councils policy to put things in back to front. Ramp crossing then light than how it’s means to be lamp rump and crossing at the same time. I would like to see this don’t before the Christmas lights are turned on in Charlton village.

  • Still the wait goes on - crossing installed in July 2020 and then immediately closed. 6 months later still closed with plastic barriers. Now pedestrians have to manoeuvre around the plastic barriers and then take a risk of crossing the road as this is at a main entrance to Charlton Park. Builders in Charlton Park Academy say the delay is not caused by them. Can you update with a reason why the delay is happening rather than just closing the report?
