Still here, still going mouldy. Please please please remove this eyesore. The inside of this caravan is set up as a kitchen. I believe it is a food selling unit. it is not a caravan for going on holiday, it has no bed or other things caravans have. if this was in greenwich town centre you would remove it, why is it different if its in plumstead?

This is completely unacceptable. this caravan is DUMPED It is not used. Why do i have to look at it every day? you would not allow this in 'maritime' greenwich would you? if the owner wants to keep this caravan. TELL THEM TO PARK IT OUTSIDE THEIR OWN HOUSE. I'm going to keep posting this until it goes. THIS IS NOT A SUITABLE ANSWER.

This is the councils responsibility. from
Decide if a vehicle is abandoned Authorities must decide if a vehicle is abandoned. This is likely if at least one of the following applies:
It has no keeper on DVLA’s database and is untaxed - check vehicle tax online it’s stationary for a significant amount of time it’s significantly damaged, run down or unroadworthy, for example has flat tyres, missing wheels or broken windows it’s burned out a number plate is missing
The caravan has not moved for over 2 years it is significantly damaged, run down or unroadworthy,
Look forward to getting this eyesore off the street. Thanks

Authorities must decide if a vehicle is abandoned. This is likely if at least one of the following applies:
-it’s stationary for a significant amount of time YES (The caravan has not moved for over 2 years ) -it’s significantly damaged, run down or unroadworthy YES (Light missing, illegal tyres, completely run down.) -a number plate is missing YES
I'm sure if this was in the royal arsenal complex or greenwich central or blackheath it would be removed immediately. Why is Plumstead constantly underfunded and ignored? We still pay council tax and expect the same standards and service.

Move this dumped caravan It is not a caravan to go on holiday. The interior has been converted to a kitchen. IT HAS NO BED IT HAS NO USUAL CARAVAN FACILITIES
The owner needs to move it or destroy it or dump it outside their own house.

Hi, I don't understand your reply. There has been a noticed placed on it before and the owner claimed it. Then you refused to move it.
Are you saying that you have issued ANOTHER 7 day notice and you are currently waiting for the owner to make contact? And if they don't it will be removed?
I sent you a message earlier that clearly shows why you have to remove this caravan. 1 - it hasn't moved for 2 years and 2- it is in a state of disrepair. I don't understand why you don't just remove it now. Your responsibilities are clearly set out on : https://www.gov.uk/ guidance/ abandoned-vehicles-council-responsibilities
So don't wait for seven days before 'deciding'. Remove it please.

Hi. So that's 8 days since the notice was served. Assuming you are arranging to get it removed now? Can you tell me when this will be happening please? Many thanks in advance.
