Deep pothole in centre of road
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 15:32, Fri 18 September 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2301297.
This pothole has been deleloping, after appearing shortly after the high voltage cables were laid along the street many months ago. It is getting progressively deeper, and must by now be causing damage to some of the many vehicles that rat-run to avoid the A2 traffic signals. In its early stages it was just a water-weep from the tarmac surface.

The pothole was caused by water leaking to the road surface. The pothole has now been filled, but the leak continues, storing more problems for the future.
