RE: Flytippers

Every week or two for the last 5 months I am woken up at around the same time (between 12am and 2am) on a random day during the week.

Two bins are located on the side of the block which is where my bedroom window is located, a van pulls into the estate and empty’s sometimes black bags, wood, plastic etc into the bins and there’s always quite a lot of stuff and whoever is flytipping always seem in a rush to get rid of the rubbish and does so very loudly, loud enough to wake me from my sleep.

I haven’t had the chance to get a description of the vehicle previously so I wouldn’t be able to say it is the same people each time however, this time it was a large white van with B&Q and hertz logos on it. Three males were in the vehicle and two emptied the rubbish into the bins outside of the block (Brentwood House).

Unfortunately, I was only able to get the first part of the number plate and the last two letters (BJ19 _LM).

I would really appreciate action on this as it affects my sleep. I’m aware it’s difficult to catch people in the act but I wondered if all of the bins were able to be kept inside the bin shed that way there aren’t bins left out for flytippers and I will not be woken up by them?

I appreciate your time and many thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Lauren Chapman
