Smell of raw sewage on Plumstead Road near Plumstead Station
Reported via Android in the Blocked drains and gullies category anonymously at 13:16, Wed 12 August 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2241987.
There is a putrid smell of raw sewage along Plumstead Road and as you come out of the railway station and cross the bridge to the bus stops.
It could be the street drains or it could be the Southern outfall sewer which flows beneath this location which then flows beneath the ridgeway to crossness.
The smell has been persistent for many months now and it's awful.

Well who is responsible and can you at least forward this to the right team. I thought it could be a road gully/drain that has dried out in the hot weather making the smell.

It could be the Crossness pumping station in this heat or a gully with stagnant water at the bottom I will ask our gully team to have a look
