Overflowing of domestic and large household waste
Reported in the Flytipping category anonymously at 12:46, Mon 10 August 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2238560.
When will this disgusting pile of rubbish and large domestic waste be cleared and cleared on a regular basis? As reported on previous occasions, most recent 6.7.20 Ref. 2187857 and 31.7.20 Ref. 2224822, Greenwich, Peabody and the private maintenance company SDL are seen to ignore the stinking rodent and fly infested pile of rubbish. Also, as previously stated the refuse at this location is bad for residents, environmental health and safety and not least visitors. We spoke recently to a group of ramblers who stopped to voice their disgust at the mess blocking their way. It is not uncommon for ramblers to stray from the Green Chain Walk, Ridgeway or Thames Path to visit the Tump which is a local vantage point. A solution to this problem needs to be given some serious thought as it is clearly a growing health and safety risk. Please refer to our previous reports and pictures.

Not fixed: not entirely .. this location (Rubbish cupboard at SE28 0LF Tor Grove .. the marker on this map is incorrect) has been tidy for about three weeks but large unwanted household items are reappearing. It will escalate. Stated previously, this site needs to be monitored and cleared on a regular basis as others in the area. If not it will descend into the disgaceful mess it was before.
