Dog foul on Blithdale rd
Reported in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 23:09, Sat 8 August 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2236619.
Despite reporting dog foul on the pavement of 127 Blithdale Rd on the 1/8/20 ,a week later the fog foul remain on the public pavement and a further round right next the previous one.In the current climate ,it's very dissapointing that the council has ignored the health and safety of local residents and passer by .Its further disturbing that friends in the immediate community confirmed at least a weekly clean of their pavement but this side of Blithdale Rd has however being abandoned in such weekly clean.I noticed a council worker that appeared to be cleaning the pavements on my walk to Abbeywood station around 8am on 5/8/20,this part of Blithdale Road as usual was not swept otherwise the dogs foul would have been cleaned and probably discourage the culprit from returning. I am requesting that the council investigate why the side of Blithdale Rd beginning 121 ,123,125,127 ,129 and a few houses along the road are excluded from regular clean like the rest of the road .I walk daily along the road all the way to the station and there is clear evidence of regular clean of the pavement compared to the section of Blithdale Rd beginning 121.The side of Blithdale Rd beginning 121 through 127 is either filled with dog foul or leaves while the rest of the Road is clean.Similarly a warning to dog walkers to clean up after their dog or face penalty up to a £1000 is posted on the metal posts along the rest of Blithdale Road but non can be sighted on the metal posts commencing 121 Blithdalw Rd .How can Tbe council possibly reduce health problems associated with dog mess if a complain of fog fowl is ignored even after a week.We pay council tax like other residents on this side of Blithdale Rd and deserve to live in a clean environment like other local residents further down Blithdale Rd and in the immediate vicinity .The council need to protect the health of local residents and fix this problem and also investigate why this side of Blithdale Rd has been excluded from a regular clean .
