Fly tipping plus uncollected rubbish

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 09:28, Friday 31 July 2020

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

This is an ongoing issue with this road. The bins you see in the picture are used by the whole road of houses on that street. It is not big enough to accommodate all the families living there and it always end up overflowing with rubbish which is becoming a health hazard . I have passed today and there is an infestation of flies. Utterly disgusting and unhealthy. It will probably need fumigating and a deep cleaning. Also people use the surrounding area to leave unwanted items. They should be fine. I am not sure if this is Greenwich responsibility or Peabody, but this is now becoming critical.

  • Peabody has informed me that this area is managed by a company call Hindwoods. If Greenwich council has any power over them please use it. I have been living in this area for 15 years and they are doing a terrible job.
