Clothes dumped & park gates in disrepair
Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 09:26, Wed 15 July 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2201055.
Clothes have been dumped along the Brookdene Road gates into Plumstead Gardens, probably in people's attempts to climb over the gates that remain locked but are now covered in 'anti vandal paint' signs. These gates are in total disrepair, the area is poorly maintained (overgrown bushes etc), and attracts a lot of anti social behaviour. I'm not sure the 'anti vandal paint' warnings have done much other than encourage people to now dump their clothes.

Instead of clothes today there seems to be a large dirty sleeping bag abandoned on the gates. Are people sleeping in the park? Either way it looks like they are still climbing over the gates and the area is still a mess.

These gates remain in total disrepair. The fact the gates are locked is completely ignored and the locks are often pulled apart or clothes are dumped by people climbing over the anti vandal paint. One of the bushes near the gates is so overgrown it is growing onto the pavement.
