Piles of mattresses in yard backing on to platform 1

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 16:23, Thursday 2 July 2020

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

It is an empty yard at the back of platform 1 Greenwich Station. The yard could belong to network rail (not sure) as there is no signage to indicate who it belongs to. There is a huge pile of old mattresses which are a health hazard. But more importantly there has been a rat problem for many years along the south side of Straightsmouth which re-occurs every summer. These mattresses would make perfect homes for the rats to hide and breed in.
