Grass being allowed to set seed causing injury to animals.

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 12:57, Wednesday 17 June 2020

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

Grass being allowed to set seed on the islands in the middle of Mayday Gardens and on the verges up and down Broad Walk. The type of grass being allowed to set seed has barbs on it allowing it to stick and then slowly penetrate through animal's fur. In the last week I've had to get a vet to remove one that had entered the ear canal of a Cocker Spaniel and again he had to remove one that had embedded itself into the top of the paw of a second Cocker Spaniel causing distress and suffering to both animals.
