Gallions Reach Park being littered more than ever
Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 09:12, Wed 8 April 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 2082800.
Gallions Reach Park is being littered more than ever. I believe the access to the playground area was supposed to be restricted (tape and cable ties were placed all around equipment and gates but they have been cut) however the playground is being accessed and littered way more than I have ever seen in the past. Bins overflowing and rubbish is scattered everywhere (plastic and glass bottles, take away containers, paper, used wipes, plastic bags..)

Bins are always full and people leave their take away food (which suggest they have picnics in the park) leaving mess behind them. Can you increase the cleaning of the park and perhaps add another couple of bins? I clean up every week but it is tiring and frustrating

This will be passed to our parks department but they are running behind schedule on emptying the litter bins due to staff shortages
