Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 1 minute later

Cars parked here daily at junction on kings ground and eltham palace road. Parking at junction is in clear breach of Highway Code rule 243 of not parking within 32 feet of a junction or opposite a junction unless in authorised parking space. Previous ticket raised for this has been marked as fixed - no action had been taken to stop parking at junction and remove obstruction of road and bus stop

  • The distance between the bus stop and the junction allows for cars to park. cars bark within 32 feet of the junction which is an offence and obstruct the view of oncoming traffic. Cars also park within 32 feet of the junction on Eltham Palace Road meaning only one car can enter / exit at junction at a time. With multiple cars, junction obstructed and visibility poor, this is a dangerous junction. yellow lines should be placed around the corner to precent parking within allowed distance and improve flow of traffic and improve visibility

  • Parking right up to and on the junction continues. Obstruction to viewing oncoming traffic and is dangerous. Also contravenes highway code of parking within 23 feet of a junction. I have had 2 near misses at this junction as I am unable to see oncoming traffic due to parked cars , vans and bus stop next to junction.
