Dog faeces left outside school gate
Reported in the Dog fouling category anonymously at 10:48, Mon 27 January 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1962795.
Dog Fouling in this area is a problem, there is dog faeces on public footpaths almost daily, on Appleton Road where I live. But what is most disturbing is that for the last two days in a row dog faeces has been left outside the gates of Henwick School where I drop my daughter every morning. This occurred last Friday morning, where school staff had to place a sign over it so that children would not step into it. But this morning there was dog fouling again outside the gates. This seems a coincident and I suspect may have been deliberately been put there as there is constant dispute by residents over parents parking in this road to drop their children off at school. Please can dog provisions be made to place dog waste containers so that owners can dispose waste properly. This problem is affecting children and residents likewise and dog owners in this area do not have seem to have any respect for public safety.I also have a video clip that I can send where a dog has fouled outside my property and the owner did nothing.

Thanks for this report I will pass this onto our street services team who will monitor for dog fouling when your road is cleansed each week. We can also add signage to areas that have significant instances of dog fouling

There is still dog fouling occurring outside school gates of Henwick Primary School, this is the third time now and to me it appears to be a deliberate attempt to disrupt school life by disgruntled residents complaining about parents parking in front of their driveways for about 45 seconds to drop their children.
