Cars Dumped On Riverdale Road for Months
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 09:50, Sun 26 January 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1961108.
This complaint has been made so many times but is being ignored and not followed up by Greenwich Parking or the council. There are several cars along Riverdale Road that have been there well over 6 months that are all abandoned and have not moved in at least 6 months, some more. There is an Audi Q7 which is parked opposite 94 Riverdale Road which hasn’t moved in nearly a year, we also have a another Audi A3 parked opposite 92 which has been there for some time, there’s a Vauxhall Astra in terrible condition parked outside 92 Riverdale Road which has literally sat there unmoved for nearly 9 months. The list goes on and on but at no point has the owners returned to remove their vehicles which means they’re abandoned. The road is already very busy with the police and an active mechanic who has been using the road to carry out his own personal works on cars which in itself is illegal which I’m sure you already know. The road has become a dumping ground for unwanted cars, could you please either contact the owners of the cars to see if they’re still of use to them or simply just remove unwanted vehicles and free up some space for the residents.

Still waiting for Greenwich to deal with the abandoned vehicles on this road. This car is actually growing moss on the wheels it’s hasn’t been moved in that long. Ridiculous
