Garages neglected upkeep for years-Flytippers encouraged!
Reported in the Flytipping category by Derek Small at 23:53, Fri 24 January 2020
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1959773.
Regular occurrence here litter, rubbish, and fly-tips. This one is a medium size, item of furniture. When will these garages owned by the council, be finally brought up to a decent standard to discourage this happening on a regular basis. This could be a nice street but the council fails in their duty of care here. Like many other streets adjacent to main roads with retail, with only a weekly litter pick and less frequent sweeping, the rubbish accumulates and fly-tips happen. Council tax goes up nearly 5%, but all the talk is about cuts in services. Why? street cleaning is down to the bone already, and nobody penalised for commiting litter or fly tipping offenses.

This flytip cleared, will only be days or a week before another is deposited, because council not maintaining this road or any surveillance. It is a magnet for flytippers and you do nothing but clear it when we notify you, smaller remnants of rubbish always left behind, and more larger stuff arrives. can you do something please, this 'was' a nice area!
