Junction Camelot Close and Pier Way may require a traffic island for road safety as vehicles cut in speedily on the middle of the junction not entering Camelot close on the left of the road. There has been several near miss accidents.

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 1 minute later

There has been several near accidents with our car and with others when drivers coming along Pier Way speedily enter Camelot Close with inadequate positioning. They cut in and turn in the middle or almost on the right of Camelot close posing inevitable potential accidents with vehicles arriving along Camelot Close turning into Pier Way. It is very frightful noticing such foolish driving.

  • Risks of accidents still persist. A traffic island will certainly be the solution as it will cause drivers' change of behaviours in the way they enter or exit the junction. Good forward thinking and remedial action in the junction/road design is surely better than waiting for serious accidents. London Borough of Greenwich can surely be pro-active.
