Meter machine problems

Reported in the Car parking category by derek small at 12:55, Sat 30 November 2019

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 5 minutes later

This meter has been placed right next to my property wall, causing undesirables to drop their alcoholic beverages, coffee cartons, miscellaneous litter causing me to constantly have to clear them myself, since street cleaners are only weekly or fortnightly. I have had to clean up vomit, human urines, and dog faeces and urines regularly, this even happening daytime. Also frightening when find people hanging around the machine when you enter and exit our door, especially during hours of darkness. It is also on same side of road now, having been moved already once, as residential parking only, and many park here illegally despite paying charges for a ticket from machine. I gave complained before and not had any action, this time I gave had enough and demand this to be moved away from my property,it is something I will take court action over if I receive no result from this further complaint once more.

  • Not fixed, still have a situation where the bay by the machine is residents permit only, people park there thinking the machine ticket applies. Is this legal? Still also have problems with detritus dumped by the machine-bottles,cans, fast food wrappers etc, and dogs urine/faeces, even humans urinating behind it! And street sweeping here poor, only weekly and not thorough
