Overflowing Skips on Riverdale Road
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 13:35, Sat 16 November 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1849148.
Two skips have been left for months on Riverdale Road, they have already been reported but nothing seems to have been done about it. They’re a safety issue especially when it’s windy because if something blows of and either hits a pedestrian or obstructs a the vision of a driver it could very dangerous indeed.

Not fixed, it’s even worse as someone has added more rubbish on top of an already overflowing skip. There’s planks of wood dangerously sitting on top of the skip that’s uncovered all it will take it someone to knock it or a severe wind and that’s coming off. Let’s hope and pray nobody gets hurt.

Surprise surprise, they’re still there and you may be surprised to know someone has added more junk so now both skips have overflowed and the day it was windy all the junk flew all around the road causing a right mess. I’m both annoyed and disappointed that Greenwich have allowed this to happen. You know it’s there and it’s very easy to find out who owns the skips, yet you do nothing. Remind me why we pay council tax again???
