A large amount of glass scattered over the entire paved area
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 15:44, Tue 12 November 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1843193.
When visiting the Councillor Surgery at the Church near Abbey Wood Library last Saturday Morning 9th November there was a huge amount of glass scattered all over a considerable area of the shopping parade.
This could obviously be of considerable danger to children, including those visiting the Contact Centre held at the Church.
Consequently I was able to borrow a broom from the Contact Centre and sweep up the worst amount near to there to one side - but it may still be there. However the area affected is very considerable - so really needs to to be tackled regularly by machine, as the glass tends to lodge between paving slabs.

Although the overall area was much better, the original piles of glass collected were still there last Saturday morning.
