Constant rubbish being left by bin chute
Reported anonymously at 23:30, Tue 5 November 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1833677.
The communal area by the bin chute that serves 17-28 Invermore Place SE18 7DJ has rubbish being dumped by the bin chute constantly despite new signs being put up by the council. This is a health hazard as it attracts vermin, and it makes the place look and smell awful. Often, there are packing boxes with the address of the resident who has dumped the rubbish, they should be spoken to and warned about breaches of tenancy agreements. This has been an ongoing problem for several years.

This is constant and ongoing. They still leave their rubbish by the chute. Every morning there is another pile that has to be taken away.

Over the weekend of 14-15th February, someone had a new bed delivered and they left all of the wrapping all around the bin chute area so nobody could reach the chute. This needs to be dealt with properly!

Despite VERY clear signs, the disgusting people keep leaving their rubbish on the floor by the bin chute. This is not acceptable and is a health hazard. The poor cleaners have to pick up all that rubbish EVERY DAY because residents are too lazy and selfish to put rubbish down the chute or take it to the bins outside. The cleaners are heroes, the residents are dirty.

There’s rubbish on the upper landing as well now. Someone obviously bought some wardrobes and didn’t want to take the packaging all the way down.

Smelly, dirty people live along this balcony. Why should the poor council workers have to keep picking up other peoples rubbish because they’re too lazy to put it down the chute or take it to the bins at the end?
