Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1826923.
The waste land in front of the electricity sub-station next to 40 Whitworth St is often used for dumping rubbish. A chair and large plastic compost bin have been there for some months. An abandoned blue Greenwich Council recycling bin has been standing just outslide the sub-station gates partially blocking the pavement, also for months.

As noted above, on 31 October I reported various items, including an abandoned recycling bin, a chair and a large plastic compost bin, dumped on the piece of waste ground in front of the electricity sub-station at the North end of Whitworth street. I received a message to say this problem was fixed, but in fact only the chair and the recycling bin have been removed. The compost bin remains on the waste ground, along with a quantity of wood and what looks like a pallet and a small sack of what seems to be builders sand, dumped just inside the sub-station fence. This space is often used as a dump for unwanted items, and the continuing presence of rubbish invites further dumping.
