Mass fly tipping

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later

The land south of Union Wharf apartments is currently being occupied by Travellers. On Saturday 26th Oct 2019 these people have been fly tipping into the old abandoned building using flat bed trucks.

  • I'm not sure why this has been closed? Yes the fly tippers are gone but the mess they have left behind is not. Is there an ETA of when the clean up will take place?

  • Councils still have the responsibility to put pressure on the landowners though, especially given the potential environmental impact of tonnes of rubbish, the contents of which are unknown potentially leeching into the nearby creek. Don't pass the buck here
