Significant amount of refuse on an undeveloped plot of land

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 10:55, Monday 14 October 2019

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 6 minutes later

We recently had "travellers" entering a plot of land next to my dwelling with caravans. I've just returned from a trip overseas and noticed a significant amount of refuse next to these caravans. The site is gated so it cannot be seen from the ground level.

  • The location of the rubbish on the site has spread to multiple locations. This is likely to encourage vermin, and increase litter in surrounding areas and represents a severe fire risk.

There are children living on the site amongst this trash. It is not a sanitary environment. It is not a safe environment. There are also tents on site, which suggest people sleeping outdoors amongst the trash.
