Abandoned Vehicles Riverdale Road
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 15:26, Wed 25 September 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1780857.
There seems to be at least 6 abandoned vehicles that belong to the mechanic on Riverdale Road. Some have not moved in months and it’s taking away parking from the residents who live there and who are also contributing by paying their council tax. As well as the cars being left abandoned, unused, unmoved and just in the way we have to also lose out on parking while he uses the spaces to work on vehicles outside of his garage. Please can you rectify the issues on Riverdale Road and put a stop to the cars being illegally repaired on the public highway.

No the issue has Not been fixed. I’ve just written another complaint as the same vehicles I reported months ago are still in exactly the same place plus he’s added at least 4 more. I have no idea why Greenwich keep ignoring this issue.

Not resolved I’m afraid as we still have cars that haven’t moved in months on Riverdale and Saunders Road. This can simply be resolved by permitting the road so people can’t dump/repair cars on the public road.

Don’t know why this was closed? There are still multiple unclaimed vehicles parked up on Riverdale Road. If you actually bothered to check out all the cars you would know this.

This needs to be opened and resolved. None of the cars have been removed. Do you even bother to follow up on complaints made about this road or are you just closing them after a few weeks.
