Mechanic Blocking Riverdale Road (STILL)

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:20, Wednesday 11 September 2019

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 5 minutes later

As you closed the last complaint as โ€œfixedโ€ I have opened another one and will do so until you really fix the issues of Riverdale Road. So once again the Mechanic who runs a very busy business of repairing, storing, and having a hang out for local Randomโ€™s is blocking up the Road while fixing his cars across the pavement and outside residential homes and leaving cars some of which are untaxed on the road.

It is illegal to fix cars on the public highway!! You know this, we know this, he knows this yet itโ€™s still going unchecked? While you are at it please make sure this business has all the correct insurances and meets fire safety regulations.

  • On the bbc watchdog web sight you can submit a form for help. With a problem that need to investigated. You can fill in the form and add any photoโ€™s that you have. Maybe if enough residents apply for help with this dangerous and anti social problem.

Also we can complain about the council to the ombudsman who will investigate because some thing seems very wrong that they refuse to do anything about this.

  • This sounds like a good idea, maybe we should all just go and fill out a form and ask for the garage to be investigated because like you said itโ€™s so strange that this has been ignored for so long considering itโ€™s such a big issue.
