Over grown and dangerous oak trees out side houses
Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 12:12, Tue 3 September 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1754268.
There are 5 oak trees outside the terrace houses in Wynford Way running from number 17 to 27 SE9 3EJ. They are in desperate need of pruning, they have branches falling off all the time when there is a strong wind and its a surprise it has not hurt someone. The branches also hang over the pathway.

Nothing has been done about these trees and there have been more branches fallen off over the past weekend

As per all my other complaints about these trees nothing gets done. They are old, overgrown, dangerous and need some TLC to make them look good again. I do not understand why Greenwich council continue to ignore my concerns and do nothing

The Horse Chestnut and Hawthorn trees have been inspected. No significant arboricultural defects visible. Minor deadwood which is usual for species. No evidence of recent large limb loss. No works required. Tree should not be pruned on a regular basis as this leads to future decay issue - especially with Horse Chestnut.
