Rear street door of Ellison House damaged
Reported anonymously at 11:01, Mon 29 July 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1711974.
Vandalism of Rear, communal, street door of Ellison House (yellow metal door opening onto rear car park).
Rear street door was damaged/ interfered with Saturday daytime by drug dealers who have moved in on the area.
Attempt was made to remove door lock and handle/ catch. Both damaged as a result. Lock partly pried off and some screws loosed and removed.
Lock and handle urgently need to be re-secured with new Security screws. Possibly welded together even.
Failure to act now will result in whole mechanism being removed by them and far more costs being incurred.
Information on those who caused this damage has been passed on to West Greenwich Police and the RBG Tenancy officer for the area.
