Collapsing Utility Trench
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:26, Tue 23 July 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1705785.
Greenwich Council have ignored this issue for several months. They appear to think it is acceptable to have a subsiding road surface adjacent to a road hump, causing damage to vehicles as they "double dip" and scrap over the road hump. There is also the issue of the noise disturbance to residents with vehicles bashing over hump at all hours.

The trench is still an increasing hazard. Apparently with Thames Water to resolve but council don't appear to be managing any sort of expedient response.

The issue remains unresolved. The Council blaming Thames Water and vice versa. Local councillors are now involved so let's see if they can invoke any action?

It's reassuring that the local councillors are treated with the same disdain as council tax payers. Councillor Stanley recieved an update that the problem would be resolved on the 23 September. A crew turned up, didn't have the correct equipment, promised to return and had subsequently vanished. Requests for updates are just ignored!

Finally fixed after 30 months, took less than a couple of hours, really disappointing something so simple took so long to resolve.
