Speeding
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:17, Fri 12 July 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1694140.
The speed and amount of vehicles traveling up and down Riverdale Road is scary, vehicles fly over the useless humps, will it take someone to be hurt by a speed of the vehicles before something is done!!! It’s used a a rat run

I’m so glad someone else has complained about this, I’ve seen cars literally fly down the hill at such speed and they don’t even break for the roundabout which is another issue. I’m sure it won’t be long before two cars collide on the bend of Riverdale Road.

I’m complaining about the Speeding which has increased over the past couple of years this situation is dangerous , cars and vans speed up and down Riverdale road with total disregard for the 20 mph speed limit or the speed bumps which they go over with a terrible bang it needs to be addressed as it’s just a matter of time when someone is injured or killed. Or two vehicles crash in to each other

Nothing has changed, cars continually speed up and down Riverdale Road. It seems Royal Borough of Greenwich doesn’t care of any issues down the road shameful

How has this been changed to “fixed” when cars are still literally flying up and down the road? How exactly did you fix the issue? Speed humps? Ticketing cars that are speeding? How??

Why has this been closed!!!!!! Absolutely nothing has changed what have you done to resolve this!!!!!! Cars are speeding up and down Riverdale Road nothing changed what is going on. What is point having this site if nothing changes.

How has this been “fixed” just this morning someone flew down the road and they didn’t even break at the roundabout.

Nope it has certainly not ended. We have not witnessed any evidence of what the council have done to prevent this. This road is used as a rat run and the speed of drivers are a joke and very dangerous. So please tell what have you done to try and resolve this!

At least come out and witness people speeding up and down the road and you’ll see just how dangerous the road has gotten.

No way has this been fixed, what is the point of having this site if you are not going to address any of the issues in this road and surrounding roads. Pointless site unless you see a dumped mattress then it’s dealt with

Closed again with no resolution, I’m still curious as to how you’ve fixed this issue? Cars are still speeding up and down the road.

I’ve come to the conclusion that Greenwich do not use this site at all. Every problem I’ve ever reported is closed and no action is taken, this site is the biggest waste of time. One thing this site does do though is show me that RBG have serious problems with certain issues and clearly are not addressing any of them or taking them seriously. So disappointed with this borough.

Totally agree I’ve been saying the same thing for ages, they don’t address anything unless it’s a dumped mattress etc.

It’s ridiculous, you first complained in July of this year and we’re in December and absolutely nothing has been done about the speed people are driving up and down Riverdale Road. I have complaints dating back to May 2019 that they keep closing but won’t fix the issue. Total waste of time as they simply just don’t care.

Lol changed to “fixed” must have put invisible speed humps or speed restrictions down. This has now become a joke.

Nope not fixed 😩😡. You keep changing all issues to fixed down Riverdale Road then we re-open them again and again and this will continue until you listen. It obviously you don’t do anything with these concerns and I would like names of who these concerns go to. To be honest I think fix my street site is a waste of time unless you have dumped mattresses or dumped rubbish. Again who looks at these concerns???????
