The dumping of rubbish on the pavement
Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 17:09, Wed 3 July 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1683578.
The people who live in the houses opposite regularly dump their broken or unwanted furniture out on the street. It is unsightly, unhygienic and an inconvenience to passers-by. We should not have to look at this mess from our home. They should take responsibility for disposal of their rubbish properly. The address is 98 Shooters Hill Road, SE3. Our address is 133 Shooters Hill Road SE3 8UQ The rubbish was put out last weekend. Not the first time this had happened.

Nearly three weeks of looking at this crap on our street... What exactly does “in progress” mean? And now, unsurprisingly, the next house along has added their rubbish to the dumping ground.... What is going to be done about this problem? Why can’t people be made to take responsibility for their own rubbish?!

This problem is still ongoing, causing a health hazard and an eyesore which all local residents and passers by have to put up with. Why should we all have to look at someone else’s rubbish when we take the trouble to dispose of our belongings responsibly? It makes the area resemble a slum.

I agree with the individuals above. This rubbish is ongoing, increasingly unsightly and very distressing for residents. It appears that the first complaint was early in July. Why has this not been attended to? Could you please respond rather than noting ‘ in progress’.!it just requires collecting.
