Garages using roadside parking and not their premises
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 00:47, Mon 1 July 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1679534.
Clamped car has been there over 6 months. Garages permanently parking all cars on road and not on their premises and using up the very few spaces every single day. They shouldn't be allowed to use road as their garage, really. Unless I am wrong. This blocks residents completely and is unacceptable. Even their breakdown car parks permanently on the road

Nothing is being done. The garage uses up ALL the parking spaces on Norman Road. I am sure their Trading licence doesnt say trade on the road. Unless the council can compensate by issuing Greenwich Parking Permits to residents. This is NOT fair. I xan assure you it is the same cars. Please remove clamped car and sort this mess out we have nowhere to park

Its absolutely HORRENDOUS that the council continues to do nothing about this. Us residents who PAY council tax and rent suffer for this. Look at the number of flats on this road. Somebody needs to do something. Even the parking on Tarves way is littered with cars from the garages. Might as well issue their operating licences to spill onto all the roads. Its an absolute nightmare

The whole of Norman Road is now closed off due to the new construction of flats starting at the top of the road. I am stressing about how awfully difficult and worse our situation will become. Only good report is the clamped car seems to have been moved.
