I realise this is not Greenwich Borough’s fault or problem, nevertheless it is a terrible fire hazard, and I’m wondering if someone has to die before any action is taken. The rubbish is still there. This was started by the bath shop leaving two or three pallets there. Then the idiots think they have free reign to dump their old freezers, sofas, pizza boxes etc in the same spot. Please contact the slumlords, I mean landlords who own this property and get them to move it and get them to provide adequate bins etc for the shops and residents to use. They have never done this in the 42 years I have lived in the area. ENFORCE! It’s my belief they are deliberately neglecting this property so they can eventually demolish and rebuild as a criminal level of profit. There is nightly loitering and I believe drug dealing occurring in this spot. Nice and close to the shops to purchase booze and a nice low wall to sit on. Great for some, not so nice for those who live in the vicinity. No individual can force the landlords to clean this up and provide adequate bins except Greenwich Borough. Please do so immediately before a resident or residents die in a horrible fire. It’s really not much to ask, is it? 17th June 2019.
