Bikers continue to use Birchmere Park as a playground. Their lack of appreciation of other people’s lives show their total ignorance of sharing these beautiful areas with others. When they are grown up I pray they will help their offspring to learn how to treat their neighbours.

Today the bikes have been at it again since just before 1pm. This has been reported to the police 101 service but they are lacking in the resources needed to deal with the issue. The noise is the worst issue but additionally the effect it has on the users of the park is immense. In the past these bike riders have targeted my grandsons and they now do not want to walk in this area. The police can provide support for this issue to a degree but the bike riders (think) they are clever and avoid the team. Something positive needs to be done to allow motorbikes the ability to ride but there is nothing available for them. This is a detrimental issue affecting those of us that live local to the beautiful Birchmere Park.
