Cars parked on drives sticking out onto vicarage road. Alongside parked cars on the road causing narrow roads and no parking spaces for residents. Reoccurring issue for years now.

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1608229.
Local garage nearby have parked cars all along the road on vicarage road, plus vehicles parked on the drive sticking out onto the road. Residents are unable to park on their own road! And have to be very cautious and careful when going down this road, not to scrape on the cars that are parked on the drive / cars on the public road. Most times the cars on the public road are untaxed, abandoned or parked very obstructively.
Whilst there has been an attempt to build wooden fences on the other land, this keeps encouraging the garage to park more vehicles on the road. Leaving residents with no places to park.
This has been a reoccurring issue for residents for years. These keep getting marked as “fixed”. I have emailed the council numerous times and have been advised to write to the car enforcement team; however there has been no change.

As seen from a different perspective, cars are being parked and sticking out of the drives. This causes residents to get pass with difficulty. Bear in mind that school buses and the bin trucks have to carefully drive down this road too.
This issue has been an ongoing issue for years and years now. The garage nearby seem to think it’s ok to continuously park their cars like this. Both on the land sticking out and obstructing the residents & on the public road. Combined it is a nightmare!!!
I have emailed countless times and been told that they can see it is an issue and the council then refer me to the parking team that deals with permits.
I’ve emailed both the council and the parking team and nothings been resolved. Nor have I gotten a response.
Please review this.

This is what happens when those two cars aren’t there (lol) - let the fly tipping begin (picture taken 22.09.19) Can the council do something??
The solution is to contact the freeholders of those premises, and ‘gently persuade (but not too gentle) them to have a fence/entry erected at the end of their land, leaving the garages/land safely away from the tippers’ sights. We live in hope

I heard a rumour that this garage area has been sub-let by the owners to.... No surprise... ****** motors!! If this is the case then it’s yet another example of commercial business SH*TTING all over someone else’s lawn, and going home not giving a rat’s arse about the residents and their wellbeing. And if no one acts, or takes drastic action against the culprits, then you yourselves do not care about the wellbeing of residents, all of which pay their taxes to not have to witness this. PLEASE ACT NOW
