Light pollution from school

Reported anonymously at 01:09, Wednesday 17 April 2019

Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich less than a minute later

The flood lights and fixed security lighting on the building and in the car park emit considerable light pollution to the detriment of surrounding residential households. These are not sensor activated and are on all night, every night, including holidays. This must contravene reduced energy usage objectives and impacts the sleep of neighbours due to direct lights shining at properties. This has been evident since the school was refurbished some years ago however nothing has been done to improve the ongoing issue.
