Water leak creating growing pothole
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 10:57, Sun 24 March 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1582039.
Water leak declared since November to Thames Water, they closed our claim twice already without fixing the water leak coming through the tar. They dug many holes already without fixing the leak. What was water through middle of the road cracks is now fast growing potholes with smile coming up announcing bigger pot hole if not sinkhole with danger for cars and pedestrians. Thames water seem to be unable to locate the leak and dug a quick hole last week to justify closure of our claim twice already. Not even mentioning the waste of water for 5 months already we'll all have to pay + pavement repairs... Shame.

Attaching a proof is it still leaking a lot and now for 6 months - should we not be more careful with our waste of water as it is becoming more important than oil ? Thames water dont care anymore as they close our report each time we reopen it; Council dont care.. next is reporting to MP then; we will not drop the case until this leak is fixed and the waste (we are paying for to Thames water) fixed !! (and the growing road potholes repaired) !

Still leaking, why has it been flagged as closed ? Thats water came again this week, dig a hole for the 4th time at the same place and close it the day after without repairing and stoping the leak. But they close our complaint again. Will anyone care about make sure the leak if stopped before closing this claim one day ? been leaking for 8 months now !!
