Ellison House, Lewisham Road entrance: Intercom panel completely destroyed, and door now open to street 24/7
Reported anonymously at 09:17, Mon 25 February 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1554112.
Ellison House, Lewisham Road entrance: Intercom panel completely destroyed by vandals (aka: local "Businessmen" wishing to have access to and use the building...). As a result, door entry system/ intercom is now completely inoperative, and door is open to street 24/7. This is making the the building safe for residents as it is now a target for crime/ anti-social behaviour. This has been the case for at least the last three weeks. This issue really must be addressed in some manner asap or further serious issues will certainly ensue; most likely someone coming to harm.

Suggest this door be locked permanently until door entry system/ intercom can be fixed. Leaving this street door entirely open to the street 24/7 is not an acceptable state of affairs. It poses a significant safely risk to residents. It will only lead to further crime, anti-social behaviour issues and damage to the building.

Added to the above, the fact that this door is now open to the street 24/7 may invalidate any insurance that tenants/ leaseholders have in place.

Intercom panel replaced; but the door is still open to the street 24/7 (as magnetic lock not yet wired up.) This has been the case for several weeks.
Issue still not resolved that compromises security of building and residents, and will lead to crime and anti-social behaviour issues again.

Street door still not repaired and remains open to the street 24/7.
Building left in this state — with no security whatsoever — since initial attack on call panel.
* Exif data on attached photo here clearly shows condition of call panel/ security on 25 February 2019, 16:32 hrs. Building has had no security/ locking door since that time.
That's 2 months, 7 days now.
It's time this was fixed properly.

* Lock on street Door repaired at last. Thanks greatly. Lead time on this: 2 months, 23 days ...
* Smashed glass panel on Main red Interior fire door still not repaired. I would of thought that constitutes a fire risk considering the main function of this door is 'fire stopping'.
