Cement spilled over pedestrian crossing
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:22, Sat 9 February 2019
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1537721.
This needs to be removed due to road safety reasons. The cement is now dry, but I believe it can be removed by jetwashing. Please do something with this.

Nothing has changed since this problem was reported. This has completely ruined how the pedestrian crossing should look like in civilised country.

It seems our Council does not care about safety of local residents. The best part of the story is that this report was ‘automatically closed’ by representatives of our careless local government. Obviously there is no way to speak by phone to anyone to discuss the issue. I have tried 30min but my call was simply disconnected in the end of the process. It seems there is ‘firewall’ set to prevent people from complaining. In the same time the reports made by this portal are simply ignored. It is waiting for the accident to happen and the evidence is already here.

It’s not resolved yet and adds to overall bad picture of how the Eastview Avenue road is maintained. All should be re-surfaced long time ago. I don’t know what Council is waiting for? Do we have to make petition as the group of people? Do we have to notify local MP?
