Abuse of the woods by commercial dog walkers
Reported in the Dog fouling category by Andy Masson at 16:52, Tue 27 November 2018
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1471610.
A signwritten dog walking van arrived and disgorged nine dogs, the gentleman with them wasn't able to observe all his charges resulting in fouling which wasn't dealt with. The majority of dog walkers both domestic and professional seem to observe the four limit and behaviour sensibly and with courtesy to other users, but there seems to be an increasing number of "professional" walkers exceeding the four dog limit, which is detrimental to the environment and other users. Time for gentle enforcement?

The council have marked the issue as in progress, so hopefully there will be some progress in the New Year.

Seems to have been little progress, although some of the staff seem to be focusing on the issue. No sign of any Borough Animal Control Officers being deployed.
