Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 1 minute later

This car is taking up parking space and is not even a legal vehicle to be kept on the road. The street should not be used as a car renovation site. It is an unsightly obstruction.

  • I am a neighbour and there is nothing wrong here whatsoever. It is not a piece of litter, it is a car being painstakingly restored. It is not a car repair business operating from the street, so it is not illegal. It is a shame the person who posted this does not have a more tolerant attitude towards their neighbours who are doing no harm.

  • More inclined to agree with the original poster than the neighbour. These images are from seven months ago but still looks pretty much the same now and has done for a lot longer than one year (more like four or five). Royal Greenwich should inspect the vehicle and its situation for themselves to determine the matter. If they agree that it is fine for it to be permanently parked with two wheels up on the pavement, then fine. If it is fine for it to be surrounded by various objects, including large concrete blocks, obstructing the pavement and roadside, then fine. If it is fine for the works involved to throw dust particles, spray paint, and noxious fumes into the air, then fine. Since this is not a private road it may also be relevant for Royal Greenwich to determine whether it needs to function as a public highway, accessible and safe to use for the general public, rather than whether it pleases a tolerant neighbour.
