Coach parking in William Barefoot Drive
Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 17:32, Tue 17 July 2018
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1365986.
There have been instances of coach parking overnight in William Barefoot Drive near the heavily used junction to Green Lane. Request signs be put up preventing similar to those in place in Crouch Croft and Colemans Heath. These instances are quite recent and possibly due to the inadequate parking facilities to the nearby Motel. This was pointed out when planning permission was requested to build this Motel with particular concern of coach parking to surrounding residential streets. Did do this report about month ago but something went wrong as was unable to find when checking out update position of action being taken.

Absolutely nothing. Attach another photo of even larger coach parked there tonight. Photo's taken are only what I have seen so there could be much more coach parking abusement. I repeat this problem never occurred prior to the building of the Premier Inn motel where inadequate parking was allowed.

Still no signs have been put up in William Barefoot Drive as we have elsewhere to prevent coach parking. The road is becoming an overnight coach park. Attach several photos showing coach parking on last couple nights one on the date received this email for update, even partial parking on the footpath. Why does it take so long to put up a couple of signs to stop this? Also have not received request update regarding the request for return of the rubbish bin by the 314 busstop of which also has not been resolved.

Have seen no signs erected as yet to prevent dangerous coach parking in William Barefoot Drive as was originally requested. Also no waste bin to the 314 bus stop that was removed and had not been replaced. So no action seen to date.

Requested traffic signs be put up to prevent overnight coach parking probably due to nearby motel. As yet no signs have gone up so still waiting. Update from Council says "in progress" but now 6 months has passed. At same time also requested replacement of the Rubbish bin that was provided by the 314 bus stop and went missing. Still waiting for replacement.

Still awaiting signs to deter coach parking. Have seen one further coach parking incident since previous Questionnaire update.
Informed a rubbish bin was put at the Altash Gardens 314 bus stop but that only lasted little while and has gone missing. My original request was for replacement of the bin to. Crouch Croft 314 bus stop but has never reappeared.

Still awaiting signs to be erected to prevent coach parking although Council response just comes back " in progress'. Have noted seeing coach parked in nearby motel's own cross hatched delivery bay only which is fine and so this time not on residential street.

Still awaiting further action of installation of signs to prevent coach parking. Council reply automatically that it is "in progress". On other request for waste bin at 314 bus stop has not been returned or replaced. There is one on the Altash Garden bus stop but not on the Crouch Croft bus stop as requested.
