Overly bright LED lights Reported anonymously at 19:23, Sun 16 January 2022 The lights have been changed to LED lights. Although I understand the change of lighting to for economic reasons, they feel like they are not fit for purpose. Bright lighting such as this is only effective in high crime areas, not a blanket cover across the city. Personally, it is shining directly into my window and makes it appears like daylight outside it’s too bright and has been disrupting my sleep. Not to mention the environmental impact of such bright lights on insects and birds. Something, needs to be done on a few levels.
