Blocked roadside drain opposite 38 Hyde Vale Reported anonymously at 21:42, Wed 16 June 2021 The drain is blocked - presumably from run-off from the nearby footpath - which means that instead of going into the drainage system it runs down the side of Hyde Vale, and onto the footpaths where it can’t get past the parked cars, before it eventually finds the unblocked gully at the junction of Hyde Vale and King George Street. The drains on Hyde Vale need the detritus sucked out of them to allow the drainage to function correctly.
